The barrier islands on Georgia’s coast are historic and beautiful, and we have been so lucky to have now shot two beautiful weddings on St. Simons Island.  The spanish moss and windblown beach were a perfect backdrop for Emily and Duncan’s spring wedding.  We have had the pleasure of knowing Emily and her family for the past few years, as Emily’s sister Katherine married Nate’s cousin Luke. She and her family are loving and welcoming and always up for fun.  When we met Duncan’s family we could tell that they were the same!  We’ve noticed that the weddings we have shot in the Southeast have one big thing in common, the party starts when the reception does.  The formal sit down dinner doesn’t happen too often, people eat and dance and chat all through the night, and at Village Creek Landing Emily and Duncan’s guests partied down from the get go!  Thank you to them and to their sweet planner Heather who executed their day so well.
